Why pay for a VPS in Monero
Bitcoin is a public ledger: anyone can trace a payment back through an exchange that knows your identity. Monero is private by default — amounts, senders and recipients are hidden on-chain. For a server you want to keep separate from your legal identity, that difference is the whole point.
We keep Monero first-class. When you order, payment is processed by OxaPay, a
payment processor. You pay in XMR, the payment confirms, and the server is
provisioned. We never ask for your name or email, so on our side there is nothing
tying the order to your identity. Self-hosted BTCPay with native Monero — our own
monero-wallet-rpc deriving a fresh subaddress per order, removing the
intermediary — is on our roadmap.
How the anonymous Monero checkout works
- Choose a plan. No account needed. You can create a pseudonymous one later if you want a dashboard.
- Get your order ID. Checkout returns a 32-character random token. This is your account for that order — save it. An email is optional; a disposable one is fine.
- Pay the address. We show a unique XMR address and amount. Pay from
any wallet. The
.onioncheckout works without JavaScript. - Get provisioned. On confirmation the webhook triggers provisioning. Manage the server from the panel over Tor or clearnet.
Keep your 32-character order ID somewhere safe. Because we don’t hold your email or name, that token is how you — and only you — prove the order is yours.
What Monero payment does and doesn’t hide
Monero hides the on-chain details of your payment. It does not magically
anonymise everything else: connect over Tor or a VPN if your network path
matters, and treat the server itself with normal OPSEC. We help where we can — a
.onion panel, no email requirement, no logs beyond what the
no-logs policy states — but privacy is a chain, and the parts
you control matter too.
Monero-first, not Monero-only
XMR is our first-class rail, but you can also pay in Bitcoin and Lightning, or in USDT (TRC-20) and Litecoin — all processed by OxaPay. See the full walkthrough in how to pay with Monero.
